Dr. Patel is exceptional. I live in Spokane and was told that my eye could not be repaired (I had problems when my cataract lens dislodged). I was facing permanent vision issues. I looked up experts and found Dr. Patel. Not only did he fix the problem, he was a delight to work with. He's a wonderful surgeon. I felt completely at ease. It was worth the trips from Spokane to Tacoma.

He currently works at Pacific Northwest Eye Associates and has dedicated his practice to vision correction surgery, cataract, and corneal diseases in addition to his work in general ophthalmology. Involved with refractive surgery since 1996, Dr. Patel has extensive experience with Laser Vision Correction (LASIK and PRK) involving thousands of cases. He was the first surgeon in Western Washington to be certified for the Visian Implantable Contact Lens (ICL). He has lectured and taught residents and physicians from across the nation and has been involved in numerous research projects in the fields of cornea and refractive surgery.
