On July 7, 2014, Dr. Hakimi, using only a stethoscope, recognized a lung and heart issue I had that led to a diagnosis of a carcinoid tumor and aortic aneurysm. He was still training to be the doctor he is today, and I will be forever indebted to him for his attention to detail and for saving my life. I can never thank him enough.
