Dr. Kon is caring, compassionate and an incredibly gifted surgeon. After a referral from Dr. Leverne Fox I was fortunate to get Dr. Kon to repair an ascending aortic aneurysm that literally was a "ticking time bomb" in my chest. He and his excellent team performed open-heart surgery on Jan. 5th, and I was released Jan. 9 (how does that happen in four days) and my recovery to date has been remarkable, especially for a 76-year-old guy. Beginning with Laurie, Tammy, Calissa, and the rest of the team (forgive I cannot remember all involved) thank you so very much. Impt. note about the "man"...a month later during my post op visit, Dr. Kon asked me "how's your wife doing"...after only meeting her (Ali) once yet recalling that my Ali was simultaneously undergoing treatment for Non-Hodgkins lymphoma...that's the kind of man Dr. Kon is...incredibly caring!
