He is an excellent doctor. Answered all my questions for cateract surgery and the premium multifocal lenses I wanted to correct astigmatism, and distance/close up vision. Staff very friendly and appointments are efficient. I had both cateracts removed in 2 consecutive days due to hosptial schedule which I ended up liking very much as it made taking all those drops quite easy. . Its been 2 months since the surgery and I don’t need glasses but small print is very slightly blurry and numbers can be alittle difficult. It was $3500 out of pocket for these premium lenses so I am really hoping I won’t need glasses. I don’t believe that will be due to anything Dr. Ruttig could have done differently if I do still need to wear glasses occasionally. My husband used Dr. Ruttig for his cateract surgery and had the standard lenses implanted .Other than having floaters occasionally, he has no need for glasses and it has been several years. We give Dr. Ruttig 5 stars.
