I recently turned 88 yrs old. I met Dr. Beauchman in approx Apr 2023. He showed me the MRI of my shoulder and explained I had a complete tear of the rotator cuff. He stated with confidence he could repair my injury in order for me to regain full use of my arm again. He explained how he would repair it. He ultimately left the decision up to me. I chose to have my shoulder repaired on June 29, 2023. I was sent to physical therapy a few weeks later. In addition to the exercises at PT, I followed through with doing the assigned exercises at home at least twice per day. Dr. Beauchman stated my rehab went very well. I completed PT in 6 weeks. He attributed my success to willpower and follow through with exercises. I continue to do my exercises at home. I would like to thank Dr. Beauchman for being professional, friendly, and encouraging. I really appreciate that he didn't turn me away because of my age. He was confident I could benefit from rotator cuff repair & he was correct! Thanks Dr. B!
