Patient Reviews
Mar 29, 2024
Broke my tibia, tibia plateau, tore my meniscus and had compartment syndrome from a motorcycle accident. I was lucky enough to get Rusnak. If you're unfamiliar with compartment syndrome or what a fasciotomy is, go Google it. After the couple of surgeries it took to put me back together I ended up with a high white cell count that wasn't going down and somewhere during this Rusnak showed up in my hospital room near the end of a day in his street clothes (I'm assuming this was after his shift had ended) to update me and provide me with some reassurance. That's how you know you've not only drawn a great surgeon but a great and caring man. After the white cell count got under control the rhetoric has been the same from every medical professional I've spoken with and it's how amazing my recovery is going and has gone. This is the man to trust your life and livelihood to. Thanks Dr. Rusnak!

Board Certifications
What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
