Dr. Hirsch's Background
Michael E. Hirsch, M.D., is a psychiatrist who specializes in the treatment of depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, and adult attention deficit disorder. He is a Clinical Instructor in Psychiatry at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School, and is the former Director of Psychopharmacology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. Dr. Hirsch earned his bachelor's degree from Wesleyan University and his medical degree from the University of Massachusetts Medical School. He did his residency in psychopharmacology at the Harvard Longwood Psychiatry Residency Training Program. Dr. Hirsch is board certified in psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
