Patient Reviews
Dec 08, 2022
We live 60 miles from the hospital and went to the La Crosse emergency room in the evening at the suggestion of our local triage nurse. Dr Scott came in, performed an exam, explained what was wrong, what should be done -- and performed laser surgery to repair my torn retina that evening! I have been going in for follow-up exams for several years now -- Dr. Scott is tracking both eyes for possible problems. We are confident that I am receiving the best possible care. Dr. Scott always takes the time to answer questions until he's sure we understand. His distinctive "fair enough" ensures we are all in agreement. Yes, the wait times in the office are sometimes long; eye emergencies sometimes happen to other people.

Board Certifications
What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
