Dr. Polka took care of my mother in the ER in Appleton, after being misdiagnosed at Waupaca hospital. He explained in detail his findings, consulted with specialists and answered every question. Dr. Polka treats you as a person not just a number or another patient. He did not rush out as most ER doctors do. He has the kindest eyes and is sympathetic. I wish he could be in Waupaca more.
