My son was admitted for low oxygen and respiratory distress. He had a suspicion for Asthma from his primary care physician. I was very comfortable and confident that this Physician was taking our concerns seriously and shared the same concerns and that my son’s condition required more testing to confirm our suspicions. As a health care provider, it is difficult to let your guard down. Also to be able to trust someone else to take over, but I was able to do just that. It was a huge burden off of my shoulders that he was following up and we would get the care that we needed. He provided us an Asthma action plan at discharge that gave us a clear explanation for how to treat his asthma based on his symptoms. I will always be appreciative for the care he provided as nothing is more precious than the care of your child.
