We relocated from VA and after 1 month in NC I got kidney stones. Could not get an appointment with urologist for 2 weeks. Needed a doctor to verify kidney stones & help with pain management. Made an appointment with Dr. Poplin and he was wonderful. He was knowledgeable as to what steps to make for pain & diagnosis, was caring and took the time to listen to my history on kidney stones. Dr. Poplin called later the same evening with the cat scan results and answered my questions on the kidney stones. Referred me to an urologist for follow up. My family was hoping to find a PCP like the one we had in VA. We did not have to look any further once we saw Dr. Poplin. We look forward to him being our family doctor and caring for our health.
