Dr. Tomey is a saint. My husband has a very complicated medical history including cardiac bypass, stents and ablation. Dr. Fuster, another saint, has put together, IMHO, the finest group of cardiac providers in the city. Stepping into the Cardiac Dept, you will never meet a more professional group of dedicated workers. Once Dr. Fuster introduced us to Dr. Tomey, I knew I was meeting a brilliant, kind and compassionate individual who was also a cardiologist. Frequently, he will answer questions that will further my husband’s care from other providers. That is extremely important. Dr. Tomey makes sure the patient’s entire medical needs are met. Recently, my husband required major back surgery at another hospital and he required clearance. Dr. Tomey called the other hospital’s physicians and was extremely helpful in getting the medical clearance in order.And Dr. Fuster? I can’t thank him enough for choosing Dr. Tomey to be part of his extraordinary department. AND Dr. Sharma too!
