First time 13 yrs ago w/shattered hip from accident. Methodist Hosp wouldn't treat the fractures because it was a difficult surgery. Sent me to UNMC &.Dr M came back from out of town to.do.the surgery. Second surgery was 2 years ago when I reacted to meds and fainted/collapsed and had an osteoporatic femur fracture. I insisted on having Dr M do the surgery since he put in all the hardware the first time so he knew what was already there. He is brilliant, kind, compassionate, & a great doc.

Board Certifications
What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
