Patient Reviews
Feb 10, 2024
Dr. Ward is incredible. He took over for my previous (now retired) surgeon. I was scared going into my first appointment because my previous, now retired surgeon was the first surgeon who ever truly listened. He was incredible. I was afraid Dr. Ward would be like all other surgeons I’ve had who did not listen or validate my symptoms. Dr. Ward is the definition of “incredible.” He listens, spends ample time with patients, and advocates fiercely for patients. I’ve always felt seen and heard during appointments and pre/post surgery conversations. I needed a surgery done ASAP, because without it, I could not eat by mouth. Dr. Ward fit me into his schedule within a week and a half. He also advocated for me in preop to ensure my going under was smooth (due to my having PTSD from childhood medical trauma.) He is an amazing doctor.

Board Certifications
What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
