We were sent to Dr. Eichel to get a second opinion after the first Dr. and Urology office severely mis-diagnosed my husband AND had total disregard for how a cancer diagnosis affects not only a patient, but an entire family. Dr. Eichel spent an hour with us at the first appointment. Explained everything to us in great detail of what the biopsies and MRI's had uncovered. The exact location of the tumor and explained in understandable language ,why the other Dr's choice of treatment was most definitely not the best choice. Right from the start we knew we were in competent and compassionate handsDr. Eichel gave us two choices for treatment. Pamphlets and books to read up on both and has an excellent team who answers questions within a DAY! He gave us a sensible timeline in which to make our best ,educated choice.We as a family are eternally grateful, from the bottom of our hearts to Dr. Eichel. Life is looking up again and we have Dr. Eichel and his team to thank for that.
