People living as I do in Fairbanks,Alaska, often find ourselves lacking in the area of best medical care. I, on the other hand, was extremely fortunate to end up under the care of a local surgeon, Dr. Dante Conley, (who is a fantastic surgeon in her own right) who was mentored by Dr. Langdale. Upon correctly diagnosing my condition as being pancreatic cancer, Dr. Conley immediately contacted Dr. Langdale and made arrangements for me to undergo the extremely technical and dangerous Whipple Procedure to be performed by Dr. Langdale. Not only was the operation a success, but Dr. Langdale canceled her family vacation to stay and watch over me to insure it REMAINED successful. She is indeed a surgeon of the highest degree, an amazing mentor to many, and an incredibly caring person. Thank you Dr. Langdale. It’s been a couple years now and you saved my life.
