Patient Reviews
Aug 01, 2023
After 4 years of infertility, IVF and loss I was incredibly desperate to find a doctor that was proactive and managed my care well. I was so exhausted from advocating and having to follow up and manage my own treatment. Dr. Appel was everything I needed in my OB provider. I never once felt like I needed to advocate for myself or my baby and that we were safe in her care. She is proactive, open-minded and up to date on the latest research. When I needed to be referred out to other specialists she had great recommendations. My messages were responded to in a timely manner and I never needed to follow up on getting orders, lab results, care plan, etc. When I was admitted to the hospital early, Dr. Appel thoroughly explained the risks and benefits of her recommendations and why she was making them. It was clear that her recommendations were formed with great care and consideration for the overall health and wellbeing of my baby and I.
