I am so grateful to Dr. Pai. I am a younger woman, and was in the hospital for about a week in terrible stomach pain. None of the other doctors could pin point what was wrong with me. They came and told me that they decided to go in and do some sort of surgery on me near my pancreas or something. At that point I was in so much pain, and it was covid, so I was alone in the hospital with no family, so I just agreed. Not realizing that there was a VERY HUGE chance that I would end up with a colostomy bag for the rest of my life! Apparently I missed that part. Right before surgery time, Dr. Pai comes in and says, No! This is not what's wrong with you! You are not having this surgery! Turns out, I just had a gallbladder removal, and I had some very severe bleeding ulcers. And the extra bile from no gallbladder was wreaking havoc in my body. That's it. 3 other doctors could not figure that out in a week, and she figured that out no problem. I love her. She's great!Thx Dr. Pai!
