I had cataract surgery performed on me by Dr. Hsu on April 3, 2024 and I was impressed by the care, thoughtfulness and professionalism exhibited by each person I came in contact with at the New England Eye Center. Each person who assisted me thoroughly explained each step that was being taken. During the first step, the nurse informed me what each eye drop was for. Then in moving to the pre-surgery area, the administration of each eye drop was once again clearly explained. It was here I met the anesthesia Dr. who stated his role. I was then escorted into the surgery area and after laying down, was made comfortable. Dr Hsu then stated the surgery and explained her activities discreetly. I was then taken care of completely in the post op area. I met with Dr. Hsu the next day and following a brief examination, she explained next steps. Simply stated, each person was exemplary. Note: surgery took about 10 minutes.
