Responding to the character assassination elsewhere that Dr. Borchard is a "snake": Dr. Borchard IS my knee and shoulder man! Not only has he worked with me as his patient, I've seen him do surgery and post-op care for my then 87-88 year old mother (who had severe post-anesthesia recovery problems--but, as Dr. Kaffuma said, "you can't expect [otherwise at her age]"). Dr. Borchard is one of the kindest, most caring physicians/surgeons I've ever known. He's given back to his childhood community. I prefer Dr. Borchard over Dr. Sisk (or Sisk's fellow knee/shoulder speciallist SOSI associates, all having generally have excellent medical reputations, if some of their bedside manners do suffer...). I came across this "snake" negative review while looking for Dr. Borchard's Pioneers Medical Center, Meeker, Colorado telephone number to set app't (preferred over MRH). I was outraged and felt strongly compelled to reply: Dr. Borchard is an excellent surgeon with good with good bedside manner. :-D
