I am a physician. My wife needed emergency care for renal failure and possible sepsis. I took her to the nearest hospital emergency room, as I had just moved to California in the past 3 weeks and I did not know about the medical care in this area where we moved. In the past, I was a full professor and head of Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care at a medical school in Ohio. Dr. Puzzo was assigned to my wife. In my opinion, she acted as a consummate professional and with extraordinary courtesy and care. She lived up to my standards of a physician which are what we typically expect, but, sadly, do not see all the time. Needless to say, I was impressed with her.
