If not for Dr Mella I wouldn't have known how bad of shape I was in. I have interstitial lung disease, including asbestosis and sjogrens. I told him I wouldn't do prednisone or cytoxan again as I did them before and ended up with cancer. He said if I didn't take prednisone I wouldn't be here next year. He came up with an alternative treatment instead of cytoxan. It has worked well at slowing the progression of my ild. I'm now getting close to being in shape for a lung transplant. Thanks Dr Mella. He is very knowledgeable and caring.
