I’ve seen many mental health professionals over the years, I feel like so many of them don’t “get it” and I don’t often feel confident in the treatment I get from them. Dr. Bravoco is the only physician I have seen who I feel like “gets it”, he is extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of mental health. When I ask him why he recommends a medication, he can immediately rattle off all of the science behind what my brain is doing chemically, why it does that, what the medication will do in the brain, and how and why it will be beneficial for my specific issue. Then he offers 2-3 alternatives in case I want to try something else instead. I’ve never met a doctor who has such a vast knowledge of psychology, neurology, pharmacology, he is always on top of all the latest research, and he’s got a fantastic bedside manner to boot. He is an absolute goldmine of a doctor and I am so relieved to have found him after so many years of searching.
