- Dr Licht is a fellowship trained, board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in oculoplastic and advanced cataract surgery. His training allows him to serve patients using the latest technology in areas of high demand within eyecare. Dr Licht&rsquos aspirations began at the University of Florida, where he studied linguistics and mathematics, and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. After three years teaching high school math, he returned to UF, earned an MS in environmental engineering, and decided on a path in medicine. He then attended Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, earning his doctorate, and continued there for his ophthalmology residency.
