I normally don’t leave reviews but decided to do so others could review my experience. I have nothing but good this to say about Dr. Almodovar & his staff I was admitted to the hospital due to pain on my upper abdomen between my breast (gallbladder) I had never meet him at first I won’t lie I was a bit scared, but he was very professional and assured me everything was going to be fine he requested all test to be made to make sure what was the exact problem. He explained everything and proceeded with removing of my gallbladder while in the process he noticed there was a gallstone stuck between the bile duck and liver. He admittedly proceeded with getting it out if he hadn’t checked I would have probably had to go back after my gallbladder removal. Once the operation was over he took the time to explain the sincero he incountered while removing the gallbladder. He showed me the video which was kinda cool. One thing that made Dr. Almodovar very different from other doctors was that even after surgery he didn’t just discharge me he made sure my liver levels went down before discharging. I feel any other doctor would just want you out especially since I had been there for a few days. On my 2 week appointment he went over with me everything that he had done showed me the video once again. I thanked him for all he did and because my incision were so clean compared to many other incisions I’ve seen on others, I even explained that I was worried about my liver levels and he right away request new Lab test to be run to make sure everything was were it should be. I am and will forever be thankful that God put him in my path and that he was the doctor on call that night!! I am feeling great and I should also mention I had no gas left in me from what everyone complain about right after surgery. I was walking next day as per instructed and I think that is what helping me with a quicker recovery. I took his recommendation of taking time off from work to fully recovery because as small of a surgery our body needs time to heal. Thank you again Dr.Almodovar
