In July of 2021 I was diagnosed with kidney cancer, the first doctor I saw told me the surgery was to difficult for him to do using the Da Vinci robotics system. I went into full panic mode. My Primary doctor called Dr. Benson letting him know what was happening. Dr Benson personally called me. I missed his phone call and he left me the most incredible, caring, and reassuring message a cancer patient could receive. To this day I still have his message on my phone. Two weeks later I met Dr Benson. He spent so much time explaining everything to me and my husband. I knew before I left his office that I wanted him as my surgeon for my partial nephrectomy. Two weeks later Dr Benson removed all my cancer. In my eyes he is one of the most gifted surgeons with the Da Vinci robotics machine. I would recommend him to anyone that needs an urology surgeon. I still see him twice a year and no signs of cancer.
