In August of 2014 at the age of 42 I had a massive stroke. Ispent 22 days in a local hospital ICU. On day 5 my brain began to swell. Dr. Cuff performed an emergency deompressive craniectomy surgery to alleviate brain swelling. The survival rate of this surgery is very low. I went on to spend the remainder of 2014 and part of 2015 at the Shepherd Center in Atlanta where I learned how to eat, speak and walk again. Had it not been for Dr. Cuffs care, concern and expertise I may not be here today. I went from being on total life support in ICU to now living a happy and healthy lifestyle.Dr. Cliff's actions are largely responsible for my successful recovery!
