I was a female patient in the Emergency Dept at MMC 2/23/2021, Dr Allegra saw me for Temporal Neuritis, he was kind, listened intently to my history and made me feel valued as a patient. The surgical resident working with me was also very kind and listened as well. As a RN for over 40 years I can discriminate the smart ones from others. My care was exceptional. One bad experience with one nurse in the ER and the US technician. The Nurse Manager was a very good listener and so kind, Karen...I was in the RTU unit and heard a lot of chattering about other patients and loud talking and giggling from the nurses. I suppose they were happy! Good for them! Quite a noisy unit. The escorts were amazingly friendly and professional. All in all a good experience from a nurses point of view. Thank you.
