A couple of years ago, I was told I needed foot surgery. I had three scheduling complications (one of which because I had a TIA, and one of which because I underwent other surgery and was recovering from it more slowly than expected), and the other office was unwilling to let me select a time that worked with my work schedule -- as a consequence of my prior cancellations. So, I looked within the Novant network and found Dr. Marcel. WHAT a difference. First, I was grateful that he provided me more information about the procedure -- truly educational. His scheduler, Lynn, was willing to work around my not-so-cooperative schedule. Before, during, and after surgery, Dr. Marcel was everything I could hope for in a surgery -- kind, competent, reassuring, and communicative And, in the weeks after the surgery, the care I received from his TA (and especially from his nurse Tessa) was unparalleled.. Truly remarkable. THANK YOU for being the role model of what a healthcare office should be.
