Dr. Kim is phenomenal. He is professional, and explains things in an understandable manner, as does his medical team. He calls the next day. He makes the patient feel at ease in every way. The only down side is dealing with the office staff. When I requested that a statement be sent to insurance for reimbursement (with specific instructions received from insurance company), I never imagined it to be a difficult or unusual task. However, only after finding out through my insurance company that no claim was ever sent in, I was told to just call and ask for the statement and mail it in to them myself. Had I known that, I would've saved myself months of wondering why the reimbursement was taking so long, and would have done so 3+ months ago when the surgery took place. Not professional, and definitely not o.k. to brush off the request of the payee.
