I needed to go to the hospital for sever abdominal pain. I waited too long to go, several test determined an appendectomy was needed. I knew from the nursing staff that I was in capable hands. I was worried, never having surgery and that so many depend on my wellbeing. Dr. Platz was kind and put me at ease. Unfortunately my appendix perforated and what was a simple procedure became an extensive one. I later discovered the surgery lasted much longer but was left with two minor incision.
