After researching local foot surgeons, I chose Dr. Hewitt to see about correcting a previous bunion surgery (done by a different doctor nearly 5 years earlier) that went horribly wrong during the healing process, leaving me unable to walk without debilitating pain. After reviewing my records and examining my badly deformed foot, Dr. Hewitt offered the minimally invasive surgical option I was seeking. The surgery was extensive and complicated, and I could not be more pleased with the outcome! Six weeks post-surgery, I am able to wear regular shoes again after nearly 5 years of having to wear flip-flops year-round. My foot is healing beautifully and I am finally able to walk without pain. It is with the utmost confidence that I can highly recommend Dr. Hewitt and his staff.
