My boyfriend had gall bladder surgery and Dr. Latona was his doctor at Jefferson Hospital. He was very frustrated prior to surgery and was going to leave the hospital. When we went to Dr. Latona's office for his follow up appointment, she was so happy that he didn't leave and was doing well. She was genuine, caring and compassionate about his health and recovery. Dr. Latona is not just a doctor. She is a human being who cares for others, and it shows. She is passionate about her work, and I am beyond grateful that she is his doctor. I had also called after the appointment because my boyfriend has some concerns. I called the office, and a nurse called him to reassure him that the symptoms he was having were normal and part of the recovery process. I would highly recommend Dr. Latona. You will feel at ease and know that your health is just as important to her as it is to you!
