Dr. Powell maintains patient confidentiality that I didn't experience at the Veterans Administration. Her emphasis is on the patient rather than satisfying governmental demands about treatment issues they don't institutionally agree with. Dr. Powell has never referred to me as a good specimen for testing and experimental drug studies. The VA is overwhelmed with veterans that get 15 minutes with a primary care doctor that has too many patients and demands on their time to care about.
