Dr Jennifer Thompson tells her office & well as myself that I am the most medically complicated patient they have. To that statement, Dr Thompson is my true advocate-always steering me to this specialist to that specialist. She alone has helped me during a 26 year struggle battling an “unknown disease.” She has helped me finally get answers & has been there for me every step of the way. She helped me find out I have backwards Addisons disease, which my symptoms haven’t been studied-researched in the medical field, as I seem to be the only one. I have primary aldosteronism-after being misdiagnosed by every Endo, adrenal insufficiency, pituitary insufficiency & pituitary tumor, thymus hyperplasia &due to steroids to help the hormonal insufficiencies, I now have high blood sugars. I BEGGED my Endo at John’s Hopkins to please do MRI of my pituitary. Refused for over 1.5 years & 9 messages that I sent him requesting MRI. She requested MRI & she found the tumor. I am blessed to have her.
