Dr. Kim expertly removed a foreign object from my leg (a pencil tip that was literally stuck in there for almost 30 years!). At first it appeared on the surface as only a painful sore, and although I remembered the accident years before (I tripped while running with a pencil back in high school), I had no idea what it was. Dr. Kim treated the sore and listened to my concerns with empathy and an open mind through three visits when I explained that something just didn't "feel right" about how it was healing. She explored further and finally discovered the unlikely cause of my sore (an inch-long wooden pencil tip!), which she bravely removed in one quick pull, without surgery. I had no idea that that was still in my leg after 30 years, and am so happy and relieved that it is gone. Dr. Kim is the best, and I recommend her highly.
