I’ve had an impingement in my L5/S1 since I was a teen. At 48, I was “running on a rim.” No disc left and life was painful. Other DRs I saw were suggesting the posterior LIF approach. A friend recommended exploring the Anterior method. And I found the best with Dr Chappuis. Surgery was June 2023. 6 months later, I’m healing perfectly with no residual symptoms or pain! After 30 years, I finally know what a normal back feels like. His team was tremendous as well. Can’t thank them enough. I highly recommend anyone with a spinal issue, but especially a lumbar fusion, schedule time and just get his opinion. I couldn’t be happier with the experience and professionalism. We even hugged it out after my last appointment today.
