  • Dr Fontaine received his medical degree from McGill University in Montreal, Canada, and completed his general surgery residency at Boston University.¬† In 2006, he graduated as chief resident in thoracic surgery at Brigham and Women's Hospital - Harvard Medical School.¬† Dr Fontaine began his thoracic surgery practice at University of Montreal but was then recruited to become part of the Department of Thoracic Surgery at Brown Medical School in Providence, RI.¬† He was in charge of developing a thoracic surgery program at one of Brown University's teaching hospitals. In 2011, Dr Fontaine joined Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, FL - the 3rd largest cancer center in the United States.
