Severe abdominal pain took me to the ER where I was admitted to the St David's hospital for an appendectomy and Dr Juprasert was the general surgeon that day. My concerns about who the surgeon was were quickly dissipated when I met Dr Juprasert when he came to see me pre-surgery. He put me at ease with his accessible and confident manner, giving me precise information for what he was going to do and managing my expectations for when surgery would take place. He came to check on me the following morning and my post surgery appointment a week later assured me that anytime I need a general surgeon, I could count on Dr Juprasert; he was personally invested and available in my care all the way through, and not just for the duration of the surgery!
