Dr Guzman received his medical degree from Universidad Iberoamericana in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, completed an internal medicine residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City and a cardiovascular disease fellowship at the University of Miami. Today, he's a member of the Alliance for Academic Internal Medicine, the New England Journal of Medicine and the British Journal of Medicine and Medical Research.
