Patient Reviews
Dec 27, 2023
Recently in November '23, I required a 'Quadruple' bypass. Prior to surgery, my wife and I met with Dr. Ikegami and his team to prepare for the surgery, answer questions, etc. Upon meeting Dr. Ikegami, he and his team thoroughly explained the surgery, what to expect afterwards and patiently answered all our questions. Upon meeting Dr. Ikegami, I was at peace and had no reservations with proceeding with the surgery. The results of the surgery and overall experience far exceeded my expectations. Thankfully I experienced minor discomfort and minimal pain as I was walking the second day and discharged the third day. My recovery at the hospital (RWJ) was great as the entire Cardiac team was very attentive and caring. Extremely Thankful for the results and my Family and I Grateful Dr. Ikegami performed the surgery.
