Dr Thomas is smart & well-versed in her specialty. She relates well & makes sure patients understand her recommendations. She sent me for a procedure. When I got to the hospital, the tech suggested we postpone out of concern for my possible reaction. (Dr Thomas' office was short-staffed. The triage nurse hadn't returned my call about this.) Timing was critical. To get answers, I drove straight from the hospital to the dr's office. I spoke to an incredible magic-worker & office staff member, Betsy. Despite staff shortages & office protocols, Betsy got to Dr Thomas immediately. Though she was on her way out the door for the day, Dr Thom as took time to get me into an exam room, answer my questions, address my concerns and help me figure out next steps. Dr Thomas prioritized my care & treatment over everything else at that moment, reminding me what real doctoring is all about. (I had the procedure 2 days later w/out a hitch thanks to her clear prep & aftercare instructions.)
