Dr. Heather Swanson has been my psychiatrist at the VA for several years. I have grown to trust her to really listen to what I'm saying, put my well-being foremost, and treat me with respect at all times. Because of this empirical trust, I feel safe being honest with her about details I wouldn't share with anyone else. She is intelligent and skilled. She is compassionate, easy to talk to and just a delightful person overall.
