I have high anxiety when it comes to dealing with the dentist - so very grateful to find Dr. Scholes after recently learning I may need a dental extraction and implant. From the moment I picked up the phone to make an appointment, his staff put me at ease. This positive experience continued when I came in for a consultation and images. (This was my 2nd opinion after a negative, overwhelming experience with another local periodontist.) So glad I found Dr. Scholes and his team. He is very caring, experienced and knowledgeable but also takes the time for you to ask questions and get clear answers without feeling rushed or talked down to. Prior to procedure, his staff reached out a couple times to see if I had any follow-up questions or concerns. They walked me through every step, treating me with respect, dignity and compassion so I knew what to expect. This tremendously eased my panic and resulted in a more positive experience / outcome during an otherwise stressful life event.
