Mental illness is a long and hard journey and I am so glad we found Dr. Rao to accompany my daughter. I am so impressed with her care for her. She has made the time to see her when needed, even though her schedule was full. She has called checking up on her, has called when she was hospitalized to see how she could be of help. She has communicated with all other doctors involved in her care and most of all assured us when things were very bleak. For the first time in this terrible world of mental illness, I feel like my daughter is not another number but a person who has found a doctor who wants her to be healthy and who will work with her to achieve it no matter how long it takes.
