Patient Reviews
Jan 21, 2024
We were referred to Dr Younan to perform a high risk and major surgery. We were in mental and physical crisis when we learned of my health issue. Dr Younan and his team, Anthony and Kaila all had positive and calming attitudes throughout helping us cope with our crisis. My tumor was removed successfully and we look forward to a healthy future thanks to Dr Younan. Also must mention, great sense of humor.

About Me

Care Philosophy
  • I never had second thoughts on becoming a surgeon. Ever since I started using my hands for arts as a kid, I realized I will have to do something in my future where I use my hands to fix things, most importantly surgically fix my patients problems. Dealing with cancer became a priority of mine while going through residency training, especially cancers of the liver and pancreas. To improve my skills and obtain exceptional training, I finished an additional year of hepatobiliary and pancreas surgery fellowship training. I tackle diseases of the liver and pancreas in conjunction with a large group of providers who participate in multidisciplinary meetings, a very important component when treating cancer. My grandmother, who raised me, had the biggest influence on my career choice as she suffered from two cancers. I always wanted to become a surgeon to help treat her and patients like her.

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams.
