I had my ablation in September of 2023. The doctor and his staff were very accommodating, took plenty of time to answer questions, and soothe my fears about the procedure at our first appointment, day of procedure and afterward. I have had 2 episodes of Afib since the procedure at day 100 and day 157. Fingers crossed that they are the only ones for a good while. I understand that the ablation isn't a cure and that future ablations may be needed. If that is the case, I will certainly return to Dr. Monir despite traveling from the west coast of Florida to do so.
