My elderly father was rushed to Ocean University Medical Hospital in Brick after a boating accident left him injured with a hip/leg fracture. We had no choice as to who his surgeon would be, as this was an emergency and we live 1.5 hours away and had no knowledge of this facility. I am happy to report this was a great experience. Dr. DePaola preformed my fathers operation and the results were better than expected. To my surprise, Dr. DePaola called me directly after the surgery and discussed the operation. He took time explaining and never rushed the conversation. He was compassionate and kind. It was very reassuring to speak with him and to know he was able to repair such a bad break. Great experience with this doctor! Thank you.
