If you are as old as I am (which means you are very old indeed) you may remember "Marcus Welby, M.D." a sitcom about an old-fashioned doctor who combined close attention to patients with homespun wisdom. I am amazed to discover that in this day of corporate medicine, there are still a few Dr. Welbies out there, and Dr. Pacifico is one of them. In the short time that I've been seeing him he's become not only a friend but even a father to me. I've had many good (and some not so good) doctors, but none that has shown me so much personal attention and, quite frankly, kindess as Dr. Pacifico. He is what most people imagines a general practioner should be, but very few are.
