Dr. Lewis is friendly, extremely thorough, and knowledgeable. I am 71 years old, recently moved to a new area, and needed a new primary care doctor after leaving one who had been.my doc for 17 years. I was concerned to find someone who would not automatically dismiss me and my concerns because I am obese. We spent almost two hours going over my history and extensive prescriptions. Geriatric patients often have drug reactions from multiple doctors (specialists) prescribing. Her policy is to be the sole prescriber, which means she's on top of my medications. She ordered some tests about some areas she questioned and also quickly figured out why I have been coughing for 8 months--but she is referring me to a pulmonologist to be sure. She communicated at a level I was comfortable with. She really listened. Unusual, these days with the financial pressure to see more patients. So far, I am grateful that I found her. Oh, and, she has a delightful laugh!
